DERC Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2021

Educational Qualification

Electricity Ombudsman:

The candidates should be a graduate from a recognized university. Applicants should have 20 years of work experience in Group a post.

Adviser (Engineering):

The candidates should be a graduate degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University. Applicants should have 10 years of work experience in Power Sector in the middle management level in a reputed organization.

Chairperson:

The candidates should be a degree in Engineering from a recognized university, having at least thirty (30) years of experience.

Age Limit

 The age of the applicant on the date of occurrence of vacancy shall be
such that he may be able to serve at least one term of three (3) years as
Ombudsman has reached the age of 67.

DERC Job Salary Details 2021

DERC has announced the pay scale for the recent recruitment alert, which is given below.

1. Electricity Ombudsman: The Electricity Ombudsman shall be paid a  consolidated salary of Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand Only)
with 5% increment per year. In addition, The Electricity Ombudsman will be provided a car with driver for official purpose.

 2. Adviser (Engineering) in the Office of The Electricity Ombudsman: The
Adviser (Engineering) is entitled to a consolidated salary of Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees
Eighty Thousand Only) per month with 5% increment per year.

3. Chairpersons, Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum:The Chairpersons of the
Consumer Grievance Redressal Forums are entitled to a consolidated salary of
Rs 1,25,000/-(Rupees One Lakh Twenty Five Thousand Only) per month with
5% increment per year. In addition, the Chairpersons will be provided a car
with driver for official purpose by the Distribution Licensee
