Tech.,, M.Sc.(Tech.)) in Atmospheric Sciences / Oceanic Sciences / Climate Sciences / Meteorology / Oceanography / Physical Oceanography / Physics/Mathematics or its equivalent from a recognized university / institute with at least a first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree

• Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc., M. Tech., M.Sc.(Tech.)) in Oceanic Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences / Climate Sciences / Meteorology / Oceanography / Physical Oceanography / Physics / Mathematics

• M.Sc in Fishery Science/MFSc. or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute with at least first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.

• M.Sc in Geoinformatics/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geospatial Sciences or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute with at least a first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.

• B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA OR Three years diploma in computer engineering / science or computer technology after 10+2 (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized board or university

• Three years Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering after 10+2 (with 60% of marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized board or university. Basic knowledge of computers.

• Three years Diploma in engineering Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Biological Sciences/Marine Biology/Physics/Chemistry from a recognized university/board with at least first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degreen Computer Science or Information Technology after 10+2 (with 60% of marks) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university.

• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, basic knowledge of computer and minimum 5 years experience preferably in Govt. / PSU/Autonomous Bodies / in the relevant area in PB-1+GP. Rs.2400/- or its equivalent.

• i) 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university. ii) Skill test norms Shorthand dictation : 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m. (English)  Transcription : 50 mts. (English) on computer
