1. FACULTY (MECHANICAL ENGINEERING)

Educational & other qualifications required:

Essential: a) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at both UG and PG level
or at the Integrated PG level in a relevant engineering discipline.

Desirable: a) Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
b) Research publications such as books/ research papers/policy papers as per the UGC norms.
c) TOTA / VICT Course or Willingness to do at the earliest.

Responsibilities: Teaching / Training students.

2. FACULTY (NAUTICAL SCIENCE)

Educational & other qualifications required:

Essential: a) Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency issued by Directorate General of Shipping,
Government of India.
b) Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at the Management level within the meaning of the STCW Convention, as amended.
c) VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or Willingness to do before joining

Desirable: a) Six months of teaching/training experience in Maritime Training Institute(s) in India.
b) TSTA Course Certificate.

Responsibilities: Teaching / training to Pre-sea courses (B.Tech [Marine Engineering] & PGDME) & Post Sea
Courses (Competency, Modular & Simulator) Teaching/training to Inland Vessel Crew (Maharashtra Maritime Board)

3. FACULTY (MARINE ENGINEERING)

Educational & other qualifications required:

Essential: a) MEO Class I (Motor) Certificate of Competency issued by Directorate General of Shipping,
Government of India.
b) Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at the Management level within the
meaning of the STCW Convention, as amended.
c) VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or Willingness to do before joining

Desirable: a) Six months of teaching/training experience in Maritime Training Institute(s) in India.
b) TSTA Course Certificate.
