• Act as village level contact for conducting farmers meetings, field days, demonstrations etc.
• Dissemination of information on new varieties/hybrids, improved agriculture inputs, and technologies suitable for the local area
• Establish and maintain Straw Management Sewa Kendras (SMSKs)
• Assist Cluster Incharge and the team members in preparing a physical work plan.
• Identify the training needs of the farmers and farmer groups
• Data collection under the guidance of RGR staff and maintain various registers or documents
• Report farmers problems and address them through appropriate solution advisory in association with RGR staff
• Soil sample collection
• Personalized farmer support (field visits, etc.)
• Facilitation of on-ground program evaluation
