Film and Television Institute of India Admissions 2026:
The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), a Deemed-to-be University and an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has opened online applications for admission to the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Cinema and One-Year Post Graduate Certificate Courses in Television for the 2026 academic session. Candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the FTII 2026 entrance examination for these programs.

The online registration process will commence on 11.03.2026 and will close on 07.04.2026 at 06:00 PM. Eligibility Criteria – FTII 2026

🎬 MFA (3-Year Programs)

• Duration: 3 Years (6 Semesters)

• Seats: 11 (each course)

• Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

• Exception:

  • Art Direction & Production Design → Degree in Applied Arts / Architecture / Fine Arts or related field

🎭 MFA (2-Year Programs)

• Duration: 2 Years (4 Semesters)

• Seats: 16 (each course)

• Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

📺 One-Year PG Certificate Courses (TV)

• Duration: 1 Year (Yearly Pattern, Total Marks: 1000)

• Seats: 11 (each course)

• Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
