VIT Law Admission 2026–31 – VITLEE Exam, Eligibility, Dates & Apply Online

The VITLEE (VIT Law Entrance Examination) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Law Programmes at VIT Chennai.

The VITLEE 2026 exam will be held on 03 May 2026 at designated centers across India. This admission is exclusively for 12th (HSC) qualified students seeking entry into integrated law programmes such as B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board such as:

• CBSE / State Boards

• ISC (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations)

• Pre-University (PUC) – 2 Years

• GCE (Advanced Level) – London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka

• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma – Geneva

• Cambridge / Pearson Edexcel (UK)

• NIOS (with minimum 5 subjects)

Selection Process

• Admission is based on merit and eligibility criteria fulfillment

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for:

  • Online Group Discussion (GD)

  • Personal Interview (PI)

• Final selection is based on:

  • +2 / HSC marks

  • CLAT / VITLEE score

  • GD & PI performance

• Admission is provisional and subject to eligibility verification

  • English – 20 Questions

  • General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 20 Questions

  • Logical Reasoning – 20 Questions

• Mode: Objective (MCQs)
