Rajasthan SET Exam Pattern 2023

The Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (SET) exam pattern consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1: This paper is designed to test the general aptitude and teaching/research aptitude of the candidates. It consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total weightage of 100 marks. The questions are divided into four sections: (1) Reasoning Ability, (2) Comprehension, (3) Divergent Thinking and General Awareness, and (4) Research Aptitude.

Paper 2: This paper is subject-specific and tests the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of their chosen subject. It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total weightage of 200 marks. The questions are divided into two sections: (1) Subject Knowledge (75 questions) and (2) Aptitude and Teaching Methodology (25 questions).

Both papers are conducted in offline mode, and the duration of each paper is 2 hours. Candidates must secure at least 40% marks in Paper 1 and 50% marks in Paper 2 to qualify for the SET exam.
