Educational Qualification
TNPSC requires Psychology, Sociology, Post graduate in Social Work candidates to apply for their District Child Protection Officer notification 2022. The detailed information has been given below or you can verify it on the official notification itself.
District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) –
A degree in Sociology or Social Work or Psychology or Child Development or Criminology of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or Institution recognized by the Government.
Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to candidates possessing a Post Graduate degree in Sociology or Social Work or Psychology or Child Development or Criminology of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or Institution recognized by the Government.
A Diploma or a Certificate course in Computer operations in the recognized Institutions is desirable.
Explanation:
“A Diploma or a Certificate course in Computer operations in the recognized Institutions is desirable” means if two or more candidates scored same mark, the person who have Diploma or a Certificate course in Computer Operations in the recognized Institutions will be considered for selection. [as clarified by Government in Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department, vide Letter No.9485/ SW8(2) /2020-12 dated 07.03.2022]
Note:
(i) The educational qualification prescribed for the posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the following order of studies: 10th + HSC or its equivalent + Bachelor‟s Degree as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. Results of the examination should have been declared on or before the date of notification.
