Educational Qualification
UPSC requires Engineering candidates to apply for their ESE notification 2021. The detailed information has been given below or you can verify it on the official notification itself.
- Degree in Engineering from a Recognised University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India
or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or - Passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); or
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government for the purpose from time to time, or
- Qualified in Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) or
- Qualified in Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; or
- Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November 1959.
Age Limit

UPSC Job Application Fees 2021
UPSC required an application fee for their recent job notification. The UPSC application fees will be collected by online mode only. For that, the candidates need to pay the UPSC exam fee through Internet Banking or Bharath UPI mode.
Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/PwBD who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using any Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card.

UPSC ESE Recruitment Process 2021
UPSC used to follow the following selection process to recruit a candidate to their company. Candidates are requested to adhere to the same detail given below.
- Preliminary Exam – 500 Marks
- Mains Exam – 600 Marks
- Interview – 200 Marks
Candidates finally recommended by the Commission on the basis of Engineering Services Examination, 2021 shall be required to undergo a medical examination.
UPSC ESE Prelims Exam Pattern
There will be objective type papers on :
