In the 2023 academic year, 44525 schools were assessed, and 4276881 students in Classes 2 to 8 took the test in three phases between January and February. The mode of assessment for Gunotsav 2023 was OMR based with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) having four alternatives. 90% weightage of the question paper was on the previous academic year and 10% weightage was on the current academic year.
