The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has started accepting applications for HS first-year admission in 2023. If you recently completed your HSLC exam, you can now apply for first-year courses for the academic year 2023-24. To apply, you need to register through the DARPAN portal, which is operated by AHSEC. The application process began on May 29, and the state’s higher education minister, Ranoj Pegu, has urged students to apply through the DARPAN portal.

Please note that the offline admission process for Assam HS First Year 2023 will begin in the first week of August. However, it is important to remember that this process is only open to students who have already completed the application process through the DARPAN portal. The Minister has instructed institutions to adhere to the guidelines for HS admission and confirm applications only after students have accepted the admission offer.
