| 1. Senior Ship Draftsman (Mechanical) – Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing a minimum of 60% of marks.
Essential: Minimum two years post qualification experience/ training as Ship Draftsman or Draftsman in a – Shipyard or – Engineering Company or – Ship Design Company or Establishment or – Government Company or Establishment or – Semi-Government Company or Establishment. Desirable: Experience in Tribon modeling /Design experience in AutoCAD. |

Minimum five years post qualification experience as Pipe Fitter including pipe shop experience such as cutting, bending, fabrication, welding, pressure testing, surface treatment etc. in a – Shipyard or -Engineering Company or – Government Company or Establishment or – Semi-Government Company or Establishment. |
| 16. Welder Cum Fitter (Mechanic Motor Vehicle/ Mechanic Diesel) – Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate), and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Mechanic Motor Vehicle or Mechanic Diesel.

| 17. Welder Cum Fitter (Fitter) – Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Fitter.
Minimum five years post qualification experience in a Shipyard / Engineering Company/ Government Company or Establishment / Semi-Government Company or Establishment, in the following areas:- i) Structural work using machines like bending machines, shearing machines, hydraulic presses, etc and or in repair and maintenance of heavy-duty cranes, hydraulic presses, compressors, pneumatic tools, etc. OR ii) Erection, repair, and maintenance of pumps, generators, compressors, marine engines, thermal power station auxiliaries etc. |
| 18. Welder Cum Fitter (Sheet Metal Worker) – Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate), and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Sheet Metal Worker.
Minimum five years post qualification experience in the areas of Structural work using machines like bending machines, shearing machines, hydraulic presses, etc, and or in repair and maintenance of heavy-duty cranes, hydraulic presses, compressors, and pneumatic tools in a – Shipyard or – Engineering Company or – Government Company or Establishment or – Semi-Government Company or Establishment. |
| 19. Fitter (Electrical) – Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Electrician.
Minimum five years post qualification experience as Mechanic or Electrician looking after the operation of Substation, installation of HT/LT switchgear, transformers, maintenance of electrical equipment in a – Ship Building Company or – The ship Repair company or – Engineering Company or – Electricity generation/transmission/ distribution company |
| 20. Fitter (Electronics) – Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Electronic Mechanic.
Minimum five years post qualification experience in the repair and maintenance of electronic control circuits of industrial equipment in a – Shipyard or – Engineering Company or – Manufacturing Company of electronic goods or – Government Company or Establishment or – Semi-Government Company or Establishment. |
| 21. Shipwright Wood – Pass in SSLC, ITI (National Trade Certificate) and All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Shipwright Wood (Carpenter).
Minimum five years post qualification experience as Carpenter in a – Shipyard or – Engineering Company or – Government Company or Establishment or – Semi-Government Company or Establishment. |
Age Limit
a) The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 35 years as on 06 June 2022, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 07 June 1987.
b) The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates & 5 years for SC/ST candidates, in posts reserved for them.
c) Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India guidelines. However, in no case, age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 50 years.
d) Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India guidelines, calculated by deducting the period of military service from the actual age and adding three years thereto, subject to a maximum age of 45 years.
CSL Job Application Fees 2022
CSL required an application fee for their recent job notification. The CSL application fees will be collected by online mode only. For that, the candidates need to pay the CSL exam fee through Internet Banking or Bharath UPI mode.
(i) Application fee of ` 400/- (Non – refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI, etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 14 May 2022 to 06 June 2022. No other mode of payment shall be accepted.
(ii) Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay the application fee. They are exempted from payment of the application fee.
(iii) All applicants for whom the fee is applicable, i.e. except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD, should pay the application fee as stipulated in the above clause. It is important to note that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of the application fee.
