Welcome to the Postgraduate Admission portal of Gauhati University. In these extraordinary times, we are trying to bring you a wonderful sense of belonging to campus life, albeit within the limitations imposed by the current Coronavirus pandemic situation. The admission process, which was to start in the months of April-May, 2020 had to be put in abeyance, following the State Level lockdown, which started from March 2021. In normal situations, it would have continued for almost two months and would have culminated in admission, by August 2021, of some 1800 very bright and meritorious students into over 45 postgraduate departments. As the lockdown is now easing all over the country, we are making our admission process live, with necessary changes in the academic process and academic calendar.
