Step 2: Gain XP and Level Up to Level 5

Once you become a Hollow, you must have at least 625 XP and be level 5 or higher to evolve into a Menos. You can earn XP by defeating other Hollows and devouring them. The following enemies will give you XP: Base Hollow – 4 XP, Human – 4 XP, Base Soul Reaper – 8 XP, Soul Reaper with Shikai – 12 XP, Adjucha – 12 XP, Vasto Lorde – 11 XP, Arrancar – 16 XP.
