(i) Written Exam : Written exam will be conducted on General awareness and General English (10th Standard Level) for 50 Marks for a duration of One hour. Maximum marks-25.

(ii) Professional Skill Test (PST): The Skill test shall consist of Sweeping, Mopping, Cleaning of drains/toilets, Maintenance of septic tank and sewer lines and one shall qualify in each activity at shore establishment and ships.

(iii) Physical Fitness Test (PFT): The Candidates who qualifies the written test and PST will have to pass physical fitness test also.

(iv) Medical Examination : Candidates who qualify in written test, PST and PFT will be subjected to a medical examination as per medical standards for Indian Coast Guard.
