Educational Qualification

JNU requires M.Sc candidates to apply for their Junior Research Fellow notification 2022. The detailed information has been given below or you can verify it on the official notification itself.

Essential: M.Sc. (First Division) in Biotechnology or related areas. The candidate must be NET qualified and must have working experience in handling cells under tissue culture conditions, PCR, gene cloning, recombinant protein expression and purification techniques.

Desirable:  Candidates with prior first-hand experience in handing Plasmodium falciparum and/or mammalian cells under standard tissue culture conditions, their transfections and fluorescence microscopy imaging techniques will be given preference.

Tenure: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The selected candidate will be appointed on temporary basis, initially for a period of one year, and then may be extended, based on satisfactory performance, by the Principal Investigator for a maximum period of two years or the end of the project, whichever is earlier.
