Aspiring medical students can now access the Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2023 CAP 2 and 3 schedules on the official website at cetcell.net.in. This announcement comes after the successful completion of the first round of counselling, highlighting the efforts to fill vacant seats and provide students with opportunities to secure admissions to esteemed medical institutions.

Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2023 Schedule

In an official statement, the CET cell addressed the completion of the first round of NEET-UG-2023 counselling and acknowledged the presence of vacant seats at the end of this round. The forthcoming schedule is designed to address this gap and facilitate the allocation of seats for MBBS and BDS Courses (Group-A) across Government, Corporation, Government Aided, Private Unaided, and Minority Colleges through the Second Round of counselling, followed by subsequent CAP rounds.

CAP 2 Schedule

The CAP 2 schedule unfolds as follows:

1. Seat Matrix Release (August 23): The seat matrix for CAP 2 will be disclosed, providing students with insight into the available seats in various institutions.
2. Preference and Choice Filling (August 24-26): During this period, candidates can exercise their preferences and submit choices online for the second round of counselling, thereby indicating their desired courses and institutions.
3. Second List Release (August 29): The eagerly awaited NEET UG 2023 second list will be published, unveiling the candidates who have been allotted seats in this round.

CAP 3 Schedule

The schedule for the third round, CAP 3, is outlined as follows:

1. Online Registration (September 9-10): Commencing on September 9 and concluding on September 10, the online registration process for the third round will be open, ensuring candidates have ample time to complete their registrations.
2. Registration Fee Payment (Until September 11): Candidates can make the necessary registration fee payment until September 11 to secure their participation in the third round of counselling.
3. Provisional State Merit List Release (September 12): On September 12, the Combined Common Provisional State Merit List of MBBS/BDS candidates for the third round will be unveiled.
4. Seat Matrix Release (September 12): The seat matrix for CAP round 3 will be published, providing valuable information about available seats in this round.
5. Third Selection List Release (September 15): On September 15, the Third Selection List of candidates for MBBS/BDS courses will be disclosed, marking the culmination of the third round of counselling.

NEET 2023 Physical Joining and Documentation

After the third round of seat allotment, successful candidates are required to complete the physical joining process at their designated colleges. This process involves submitting original documents and paying the requisite fees through DD/cheque. The stipulated period for this step is set between September 16 and September 20.
