Registered candidates must take note that the choice-filling and choice-locking facility for the third round of counselling will conclude today, September 5. mcc.nic.in Choice-Filling and Choice-Locking 2023 Details

Candidates participating in the NEET UG counselling process can fill and lock in their choices of courses and colleges by visiting the official website, mcc.nic.in. The choice-locking window will be open from 3 pm to 11:55 pm on the final day, while the choice-filling window will close at 11:55 pm. Therefore, it is imperative for candidates to complete this step within the specified timeframe.

MCC NEET Seat Allotment Schedule 2023

According to the NEET UG 2023 counselling schedule, the processing of seat allotment for the third round is scheduled to take place from September 6 to September 7. Subsequently, the results of round 3 seat allotment will be declared on September 8. Candidates who secure seats in this round will have a designated window to report to their allocated institutes, which is set between September 10 to September 18.

Important Note on Choice Locking

MCC has issued a vital notice stating that if a candidate fails to lock their choices, the system will automatically lock them. Once a seat has been locked, it cannot be changed or modified, emphasizing the importance of timely action during this phase.

NEET UG Counselling 2023 MBBS Seat Matrix

In a significant development, MCC has introduced an additional 200 MBBS seats in the third round of counselling under the All India Quota across various medical colleges. Here are the details of the newly added MBBS seats:

  • Maharashtra – Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad
    • Non-resident Indian Quota: 8 seats
    • Deemed/Paid Seats Quota: 42 seats
  • Tamil Nadu – Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Kanchipuram, Enathur
    • Non-resident Indian Quota: 22 seats
    • Deemed/Paid Seats Quota: 128 seats

Additionally, MCC has incorporated two seats for the Children/Widows of personnel of the armed forces (CW) quota at Maulana Azad Medical College.
