NVS Class 6 Registration 2024-25: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has announced the commencement of the NVS Class 6 registration for the academic year 2024-25. This registration will enable eligible students to apply for the Jawahalal Nehru Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST), which is conducted by the NVS to select students for admission to Class 6 in its affiliated schools.

Eligibility Criteria for NVS Class 6 Registration 2023

To be eligible for the NVS Class 6 registration, a student must:

• Be studying in Class 5 during the academic year 2023-24
• Have been born between May 1, 2012, and April 30, 2016 (both days inclusive)
• Belong to the district where the NVS school is located

NVS Class 6 Registration 2024-25 Important Dates

The NVS Class 6 registration process has already begun and will continue until August 10, 2023. The JNVST 2024 exam will be conducted in two phases:

• Phase 1: November 4, 2023 – For students residing in Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Dibang Valley and Tawang districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti and Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling of West Bengal, and Leh and Kargil districts of Ladakh.
• Phase 2: January 20, 2024 – For students residing in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (except Dibang Valley, Tawang), Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti and Shimla), Jammu and Kashmir (only for Jammu-I, Jammu-II, Samba and Udhampur) Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal (except Darjeeling), Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep and Puducherry.
