According to Li Jie Louis, OnePlus China’s general manager, the Ace 3 is being touted as an impressive device for capturing both landscapes and people. Louis asserts that the smartphone delivers natural and comfortable color reproduction without being excessive.

Official camera samples from the Ace 3 support these claims, revealing a 24mm lens with an f-stop of 1.8. This lens is capable of achieving an ISO as low as 50 and a shutter speed as fast as 1/3628 seconds. Notably, Louis emphasizes that the Ace 3 achieves its impressive imaging results through the utilization of “ultra-clear image quality” and “super light and shadow image” algorithms. These phrases align with the language used during the launch of OnePlus’s latest top-end software enhancements.

While the Ace 3 may not carry the Hasselblad branding found in some of OnePlus’s other devices, it appears to incorporate advanced imaging technologies, possibly labeled as “HyperTone.” Although specifics about the camera setup remain limited, the new camera samples suggest a high level of attention to detail and an emphasis on delivering realistic light and shadow in captured images.
