Written Test
The written exam for the PSSSB Excise Inspector Recruitment 2026 is an objective-type test consisting of multiple-choice questions. It is divided into two parts: Part-A (Punjabi language paper) and Part-B (subject-specific questions). Part-A is qualifying in nature, requiring a minimum of 50% marks, while Part-B determines the merit list. The exam is worth 100 marks, with each question carrying 1 mark and a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Candidates have 2 hours to complete the test, selecting either Punjabi or English for language proficiency.
