The SSC JE paper 2 examinations were conducted on February 26, 2023, at various exam centers across the country. Paper II comprised three parts- Part A, B, and C. The exam duration was for 2 hours and the maximum marks were 300.
Important Notice for Option-cum-Preference form
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an important notice for candidates who have appeared in the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quality Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2022. Here are the key points to note:
Option-cum-Preference for Post(s)/Organization(s)
Candidates are required to submit their Option-cum-Preference for Post(s)/Organization(s) for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quality Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2022 through their respective ‘CANDIDATE LOGIN’ on the website of SSC (Headquarters) i.e. https://ssc.nic.in. The tab for submission of Option-cum-Preference for Post(s)/Organization(s) will be activated from 04.05.2023 to 06.05.2023.
Revising Option-cum-Preference
Option-cum-Preference can be revised only during the aforementioned period and the last submitted option will be considered final. Candidates who fail to exercise their Option-cum-Preference during the given period will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list/final selection.
PwBD Candidates
PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates must ensure that they give preference(s) only for those post(s) that are identified as suitable for their disabilities. Allocation of posts will be made as per the provisions of the Notice of Examination on the basis of ‘merit-cum-preference of posts‘. The candidature of a PwBD candidate will get canceled by the User Organization concerned if he/she gets selected for a post that is not identified as suitable for his/her disabilities.
Important Reminder
The candidates will not be provided any further opportunity for the exercise of Option-cum-Preference beyond the aforementioned dates. Any grievances received in this regard in any form like Post, Fax, Email, by hand, etc. shall not be entertained by the Commission and will be summarily rejected.
