ATO & JTA Educational Qualification
1. Assistant Training Officer (Stenography English):
- Must have been declared eligible for College course of study.
- Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by the Senior Grade (Formerly Higher Grade)(English) and in Shorthand by the Senior Grade (English).
- Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by the Junior Grade (Formerly Lower Grade) (Tamil) and in Shorthand by Junior Grade (Tamil).
- Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience of at least one year.
2. Junior Technical Assistant:
- Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification.
- Must possess a Diploma in Handloom Technology obtained from the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, Salem or Varanasi, or from any other recognized Institute of Handloom Technology.
- Alternatively, a Diploma in Textile Manufacture was obtained from the Technological Diploma Examination Board, Madras, or the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu.
